Right in Ko Olina
An oceanfront luau at Ocean's Edge in Ko Olina, created by Native Hawaiians with an original story by playwright Moses Goods. Instead of a variety show, it's one continuous story told through hula, chant, Tahitian and Samoan dance, and a fire knife finale, with the sunset behind the stage.
Before the show: lei making, weaving, traditional instruments and net throwing. Dinner is an island buffet you can visit whenever you're hungry.

High energy and very funny, with the island's best fire knife finale, led by the Chief himself. Held at Wet'n'Wild Hawaii in Kapolei, about 10 minutes from the Ko Olina resorts, so it's an easy drive.

A family-run luau at Coral Crater Adventure Park that tells the story of Polynesia's warriors, with weapons demonstrations, spear throwing, hula lessons and an intense fire knife show. Reviewers rate its all-you-can-eat buffet the best of any Oahu luau, and teens love the warrior side of it.
